Our story
Built for
the people
who show up.
The Power Coffee started with one problem in one kitchen in Greater Boston: the afternoon crash was taking the hours that mattered most.
How we got here
From a 2pm crash to the first win of the day.
-
The start
A vision, not a plan.
Leo Lacerda left Brazil with a vision, not a plan, and built a life in Greater Boston — work, family, faith, and early mornings.
-
The problem
The 2pm crash.
Every afternoon the energy ran out. Another cup didn't fix it. The hours the crash took were the ones that belonged to his family.
-
The formula
Dozens of batches.
He used AI to map ingredients that support focus and steady energy, then tested batch after batch until one scoop in an ordinary cup carried him through the afternoon.*
-
Fall 2024
The Power Coffee.
One scoop for the coffee you already drink. Then a stranger said yes — the first real sale, and the moment it stopped being a kitchen experiment.
-
Built with you
You asked. We listened.
Early customers asked for a lactose-free formula. We made it lactose-free.
-
2026
Cleaner, and checked.
Vanilla came out after taste tests showed nothing was lost. Illuminate Labs reviewed our formula against published safety and efficacy research.
-
Today
Still before sunrise.
Leo trains for Ironman before the house wakes, then shows up for the business and for his family. Same standard he built the formula on.
Our mission
To fuel the people who show up fully every day — for their work, their family, and their calling — with clean energy that never quits.
What we stand on.
Discipline.
The first win of the day is a decision, made before anyone asks anything of you.
Purpose.
Energy is for something — the work, the family, the calling. Not for its own sake.
Clean energy.
Zero sugar, lactose-free, made in the USA. Nothing you'd need to explain.
Faith.
The anchor under all of it. We'd rather show it in the work than say it loudly.
“Discipline is divine energy in motion. Fuel it well.” — Leo Lacerda, Founder
Your first win starts tomorrow morning.
